Firstly, there was my mistake to forget to rig it. But then I was getting a hum on the output which took me a little time to correct. That microphone is toast! There is always a lot of noise from touching the mic. So I have ordered another gooseneck microphone to sit alongside the microphone which we already have (for the church PA system).
