Pilgrim Places
Fe David has bought 10 copies of the booklet Pilgrim Places. Here is a video from the Church of England team with ideas how to use it this summer.

The Service of 26th July
Unfortunately, I had problems with the lectern microphone. Firstly, there was my mistake to forget to rig it. But then I was getting a hum on the output which took me a little time to correct. That microphone is toast! There is always a lot of noise from touching the mic. So I have ordered another gooseneck microphone to sit alongside the microphone which we already have (for the church PA system).

A Concert in Holy Trinity Church -TODAY!
Today, Monday 20th July at 7pm.

Mariano, the organiser lost his original location for this event 4 days ago, so this is all rather short notice! But please come! It looks really interesting. Mariano is on the right in the photo.

The Service of 19th July
I am showing the congregation more these days. If you don’t want to appear in the recording, please write to Steve and I will pixelate your face immediately. It won’t be painful! The magnificant tenor which you can hear during the singing of the hymns is Andrew, the organist. So I panned the camera around once or twice to show him at our Allen organ. For those of you who are new to these videos, I have tried everything to get rid of the flicker on the altar and congregation cameras, to no avail. So, I think we will have to live with it!

The service of 12th July.
I try to keep to a deadline of 5pm so this is a little late. But what takes time is editing the video if I need to make changes. If anyone who appears in the video doesn’t want to appear, please tell me immediately and I will edit the video. Steve
I’m afraid we will just have to live with the flickering on the altar and congregation cameras. They seem to be sensitive to the church lighting. I’ve tried everything to find a solution!

The Service of 5th July
I always write a few notes. I think we will have to live with the flickering on the video of the altar and the congregation. I have tried everything. But it seems not to be a problem with the camera that I use for the lectern. I used pixelating on the first shot of the congregation, mainly because one or two people in the foreground were too prominent. Next week, I will place the camera higher.

Service of 28th June. Apologies!
Sorry, there is no recorded service for today. I will explain, I started recording when the service started, but there was a big delay and I stopped recording. When it re-started, I forgot for a while to re-start the recording. In any case, I don’t have sufficent time to set up the church PA and the recording gear if there has been a concert, because I have to derig it completely and rig it from scratch. I didn’t have time to rig the altar mic or the radio mic for Eduardo, our priest for today.
I still have flickering on the two small cameras that I use for the altar and congregation – this is caused by the church LED lighting. There is a suggested solution in the editor which doesn’t work, but the definitive solution is expensive. Better luck next week! I left everything rigged, ready to go this time!
